Three phone services are available as follows:

Measured Local Service

Provides for a discount off of your local business or residential monthly
base phone rate. In addition, there is a per-minute discount on your calls.

Base phone rate discount (business): 17% in NY; 10% in NJ, MA, and PA. For
residential phones in these 4 states: 10%

Per minute rate of 7.2 cents (vs Verizon's 7.5 cents) for first 3 minutes
of your local calls (businesses). No per minute rate for residential phones

Same rate as Verizon for each additional minute greater than 3 (businesses)

40% discount for calls 5pm-11pm weekdays and 5pm-11pm Sunday (businesses)

65% discount for 11pm-8am weekdays, 8am Saturday-5pm Sunday (businesses)

Bundled Local and Long
Distance Service

Basic service: Includes 2000 minutes (33.3 hours) of local calling
per line per month for $29.95. Under Measured Local Service, if you used
3 minute calls, with Verizon you would be charged $50 for 2000 minutes +
$17.69 basic line rate = $67.69 total. You would save $37.74 using MetTel's
Basic Bundled
Enhanced service: Includes 2000 minutes of local calling per line
per month + call waiting, 3-way calling, voice mail for $39.95

Both plans have a regional (toll) call, in-state call rate, and out of state
call rate of 6.9 cents/minute.

Long distance service at 3.5 cents/minute (no
local service, or can be combined with Measured Local Service)

If you call out-of-state extensively, you can combine the Measured Local
Service with another long distance service (not MetTel) that has an out-of-state
rate of 3.5 cents/minute, or you may choose to select only long distance
service at 3.5 cents/minute without changing your local service. The 3.5
cents/minute interstate plan cannot be combined with the MetTel Bundled Basic
Service or Bundled Enhanced Service. Rates for in-state and regional calls
with this separate long distance service are as follows (under "Intrastate
Rate", this includes both regional and in-state calls; "Interstate Rate"
are calls made outside of your state):
